Sanjiv is professionally qualified as a mechanical engineer having graduated in 1986. He has 25+ years of work experience through a wide range of disciplines including R&D, product design, vendor development, procurement, marketing & new product launch and sales. Hence, he has a 360 degree view on business. Sanjiv is familiar with the culture and business practices in Asia and has experience working at CXO levels. He has managed geographically distributed teams with multiple nationalities and ethnicities. He is a passionate, well-organized, seasoned regional executive committed to excellence and continuous personal growth and development. Sanjiv has worked out of Singapore in regional roles covering SE Asia and South Asia. He has a strong focus on indirect / channel partner sales and experience in process oriented large multinationals, mid size companies as well as more dynamic startup companies. He has continuously demonstrated a record of successful sales and the building of businesses. Sanjiv currently consults for companies in the telecommunications equipment space. He is developing business for them in SE Asia and Africa. Sanjiv’s career began in India and he has held country sales lead positions for Lucent Technologies in India before taking over as the head of SE Asia Sales for them in Singapore. He established the Asia business for Valere Power, a DC power startup, and helped them grow to $100M in revenue within 4 years. Valere was acquired by Eltek in 2007. Sanjiv has worked in telecom, energy, solar and battery businesses.
